Update 21.03.08
The blog hasn't been updated for a while due to the busy undertakings of shake. The business is doing fine and there is just one lunch left for our business.
The milkshakes have been extremely popular and we estimate that in the preivous six sessions we have served 200+ customers.
We have taken strawberry of the menu due to the fact that it was unpopular among the pupils and it had a low-profit margin.
Marketing has gone extremely well and every break and lunchtime, the advertisement is played on the projector in the assembly hall and posters have been put up around the school and have been sent out to every tutor group in the register.
Every session we have all met up at 12:05 and quickly put on our t-shirts, we then take into the kitchens, our equipment (blenders & extension lead) and then take out our ingredients and premake several shakes to ease the queue and to improve customer experience, once we are ready we open up and sell milkshakes for around twenty minutes until closing time. We then clean up our area, put away ingredients and equipment, wash up equipment and are ready in time for our next lessons.
Shopping has been carried out every monday and wednesday night in preparation for the next days, it has been carried out by those able to. The ingredients is then placed in the fridge and freezer, ready for lunch.
We have meet up every tuesday after-school to count money and to dicuss the business as well as putting together our business plan and presentaion, all of which are going very well.
Because of the easter weekend and an inset day, we are unable to carry out a shake session on tuesday but on thursday we will sell shakes at special offers such as maltesers for 75p. Also on monday afternoon, we will meet up to finish of our presentation and to discuss how the whole experience has developed, helped us to understand and changed our daily lives and how business run.
There is only one week left and we wish all teams, the best of luck!

Update 21.02.08
today was a great success, overall we raised £228.45 at ASDA which is great. altogether there was 7 of us, including mrs cunningham. hopefully soon we can store that money in an account but we will have to hang onto it for the moment. we also collected the t-shirts from WTSPC in winchester and the school have been invoiced for the cost. we also rang up clive to let him know how much we raised and also arranged to meet up for a meeting next tuesday.

Update 19.02.08
today i confirmed the t-shirt order which will be ready in time for the bag packing. everything is going as planned with the bag packing, which has been organised for 11:00 at ASDA Totton. we went through the questionnaires and the total we recieved was 177 out of 204, giving a 86.76% return. when we return to school we can write a report on our findings and finalize flavours. when we go back we also need to confirm details with the canteen, carry out further research, begin final presentation to faith & football and finish of the business plan. we will also need to create a poster advertising our business within tutors.
all is going to schedule!
